Father of Newcastle enthusiast, 11, DEFENDS girl supporter who was filmed seeking to seize Dan Burn’s shirt


The father of an 11-calendar year-aged Newcastle lover has defended the girl who was filmed making an attempt to grab Dan Burn’s shirt out of his son’s arms.

Just after the Magpies defeated Leicester 3- on Boxing Day at the King Electricity Stadium, the defender, 30, threw his shirt into the group for Nathan Junior Surrey.

In footage shared on social media, a girl appears to pull the shirt absent from the younger Newcastle supporter, recognized as NJ, in advance of another enthusiast intervenes. 

Faithful supporter NJ, who has owned a time ticket for two many years, was at his 2nd absent match with his father soon after obtaining tickets for Xmas from his uncle.

NJ’s father, Nathan, reported: ‘NJ was standing on the rail shouting “give us your shirt”. Then Dan Melt away pointed at him and gave the prime to the steward who threw it into the group.

‘An more mature girl grabbed it and began tugging on it, then the guy in the center, who she was with, also snatched it but he claimed he was getting it for NJ.’ 

‘I really don’t want anyone to be slated, absolutely everyone will get carried away and everyone would consider to get the shirt,’ the landscape gardener and father-of-three, 39, informed The Sunshine.

‘If the steward hadn’t damaged it up and received the shirt it may possibly have ripped or he wouldn’t have got it.’ 

The Twitter video clip, captioned ‘Newcastle admirer striving to steal a shirt from a child… charming Christmas spirit’, displays an older lady clutching on tightly to the jersey as NJ and his father search to hold maintain of it.

One particular supporter in the center then attempts to lever it out of the woman’s grip, pointing at NJ to reveal he is releasing it from her grasp for the youngster. 

Most will be pleased to know NJ finally acquired the prize immediately after the stunning tug-of-war, with stewards forced to phase in to mediate the dispute.

The ‘huge Newcastle fan’, who already has a pair of gloves worn by goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka, plans to frame his hero’s shirt.

Newcastle conquer Leicester City on Monday, with Chris Wood, Miguel Almiron and Joelinton on the scoresheet. 

Melt away had thrown his shirt into the stands as a gesture of appreciation for the viewing fans’ help, with the blessed youngster pulling in his prize. 

A message shared on Twitter from his mom, Stacey Surrey, a 33-calendar year-old carer, explained: ‘The bloke in the red was obtaining the shirt for my son but the woman was attempting to snatch the shirt from my son’s arms, but the stewards received included and obtained the shirt.’

And admirers speedily took to Twitter to condemn the ‘shameful’ and ‘disgraceful’ steps of the lady.
